Okay. Putting you guys on hold

Okay here it goes. This may be a surprise to you. I am making electro/house music. I'm using a program called TrakAx and it's so much fun. I'm just experimenting and I have about one song halfway done but I'm putting my reviews on hold for this. Sorry for the neglect but if you guys NEED a review (like if I get a shitload of views while I'm away) just email me. I check it daily. Oh and I need a DJ name. Just for the hell of it. So throw some ideas out there.

PCP Drummer!?

So I was on youtube, and I saw this video of this band called As Blood Runs Black. I've heard them before but not this particular song. Its called My Fears Have Become Phobias. At 3:29 the drummer sounds like he's fucking on speed. And it's not just a band that hammers on the drums and the strings all day, its actually melodic (If a metal band can have a melody) just watch the video and you'll see what I'm talking about

Two posts in one day!?

The Color of Violence. The name in itself is bad ass, so I expected a good band. There is only two people in this band (A lot like ISMFOF) Travis Richter and Derek Bloom, the guitarist and drummer of From First to Last, which both are some of my favorite musicians. There are more people involved with the life performance but those two are responsible for the in-studio recordings. CoV is a screamo/grindcore band, with lots of intelligible lyrics and hectic screaming. It reminds me of the screamo bands that don't really care about he screamo "scene", like ISMFOF, FFTL back in the day, and UnderOath. The lyrics are insanely catchy and really quotable, and I'm gonna throw in one of my favorites, "I SPENT ONE YEAR IN LOVE AND ALL I GOT WAS THIS LOUSY FUCKING T-SHIRT!" from the song Christina, Christina. The song names are completely unrelated to the lyrics and that's something I enjoy. Another one of their songs God gave me Deeezzz Nuts, is completely hilarious and if you have never heard this band, I STRONGLY suggest looking them up if you are into ISMFOF, Dr. Acula, and Job for A Cowboy.

Let's talk about the band's history. They've been around since 2002 when they were called Skeleton Slaughter Vs. Fetus Destroyer, and then the band featured Matt Good, Travis Richter, Derek Bloom, Joey Antillion and Chad Crews. If you are a fan of FFTL, you recognize most of those names. So most of the crew left to work on FFTL, then called just "First to Last", and from 2003 to 2006, it basically didn't exist. But at the end of '06, Travis and Derek decided to send a few tracks to the CEO of Epitaph Records and they got signed, around the same time FFTL left Epitaph and went to Interscope Records. Personally, I like Epitaph and Fearless better than Interscope but, no one really cares for my opinion. (Why do you think I blog?). One interesting thing about this band, is they have TWO drummers. Damn straight I said two. They both play them live and it's quite chaotic and brutal. Personally, I think both those words should be synonymous but ,again, no one cares what I think. So thanks for the read and I just wasted about 45 mintues on a review that no one will look at instead of doing FIVE school projects I have due on Tuesday.

Funniest shit I have EVER heard. Check it out.

I can't think of some fancy title

So in a few day's time, I MIGHT be auditioning for a new band. Right now, I have no clue what EXACT sub-genre they are but I'm pretty sure it's around screamo/metal. I will be trying out for the lead singer position, scream vocals mostly. I may do some singing...... A friend of mine tells me I can sing, but I'm not so sure. So yeah. I have NO idea what the band is called and I only know these guys through my mother (I KNEW she was good for SOMETHING) and I know they have a big history around the Seattle area where they used to live. Here is the "track record" per se, of this band. (I hope this wasn't a lie)
Opened up for Hawthorne Heights
Played with AIDEN
Opened for Atreyu
Grew up with Fall of Troy
Played in On the Last Day (Which I plan on googling later today)

On another note, a good friend of mine, Riaru Jones or TSIOO, is writing a novel on him and I, after the zombie apocalypse (which we just had a talk about just for "what if" purposes, Hey what can I say? We were bored), it's called Z-Day. It's told in the point of view in the new recruit of our group called Road to Dawn. I don't want to give out more information before he's actually finished but I'm really excited about reading it. So if you want to check out his blog, he does video games, movies, etc reviews. I'll post the link after the signature KTIOADJ.

In the near future, I will be reviewing a few little known bands, they will go in any particular order, whichever I feel like doing first.

No, you aren't the Sickest Kids

You guessed it, kiddies. I'm doing a Forever the Sickest Kids review. They are an powerpop band. Yeah, powerpop. Another boy band? Maybe. We'll start off with a quick mention of the name. I like it. At first I thought it was going to be another gruesome hardcore band (which I'm getting sick of) again but I was a bit surprised.
I listened to three songs, Whoa Oh! (ME VS EVERYONE), Believe Me, I'm Lying (HAHA!), and She's a Lady. The vocals remind me of Metro Station for some reason. And the guitar and drums remind me of a Fall Out Boy (Cliche, anyone?) The lyrics are easy to understand (Which I don't like because I like to THINK about the lyrics) and really cliche, it's all about girls (Which is fine but its nothing new) and is full of oxymorons. (I think that's the plural of oxymoron, correct me if I'm wrong.) When I went to their Myspace page, I saw a GIANT picture of the band, which in itself, its conceited, they look like scene kids gone wrong, plus it took FOREVER to load and it was a waste of time to see the fucking FTSK glaring in my face (When I say forever, I mean like two minutes and I have a decently fast computer)

So I Wikapedia'd them and they all met in high school, like most bands, and the drummer and guitarist are step-brothers? (How the fuck did they manage that? I cannot stand my siblings and I would NOT want to work with them) They have two albums, the EP being Television Off, Party On and their debut album, Underdog Alma Mater. I don't know about you, but partying is getting old. Really old. Can't we just sing about vagina's directly anymore? Yeah, I guess they aren't really BAD, per se, I just don't like them. So go look them up if you wish.

I'm in Update Mode.

Well I've been neglecting you guys, (Not like anyone reads this bullshit anyway) and I haven't done a review in over a month.... So yeah. Here's an update. I have NOTHING to review, rant, or anyone to piss off. I deleted my 'Space last night so if I ever get a fanboy or girl, don't bother adding me because, well, that profile no longer exists. So good luck finding me motherfuckers! (By the way, I'm in hiding from Brokencyde's fanboys for giving them a shitty review). So yeah. Throw some ideas out there and remember. Killing the Living is ONLY A Day Job

P.S For those of you who are idiots. 'Space = Myspace? Got it? Okay.

I have a huge writer's block

I HAVE NOTHING TO WRITE ABOUT!?!?! Help! It's like being cock-blocked by the Hulk! Except in writing..... I've been working on my own songs but I cannot think of anything to rant/review/bash the fuck out of. If there are any readers out there who have a good suggestion, throw 'em out there.
